UPMC Italy is issuing a call for applications for the following fixed-term position: 1 Fellow Hospitalist (Ref. Fellow Hosp/21 TD).

The selected candidate will report to the Director of the Department for the treatment and study of abdominal diseases and abdominal transplantation, and manage the clinical problems inpatients (i.e.; admission, diagnosis, treatment, execution of medical procedures at the patient’s bedside, discharge and of continuity of care). He/she will participate in the coordination of multidisciplinary patient care and deal with the implementation of quality improvement programs, coordination, communication and collaboration with medical specialists and clinical staff, optimizing the use of available resources. He/she will actively participate in the work of hospital committees, provide active support during accreditation processes, and collaborate in clinical research studies.
