HIMSS e ETC 2018: digital health conferences

The European Telemedicine Conference (ETC) 2018 will be part of the HIMSS Europe 18 & Health 2.0, the most influential digital health conference of 2018 that will be held on May 27 – 29 May in Sitges, located near Barcelona. The conference will include sessions, which will address the whole spectrum of the digital health ecosystem with the aim to reach key audiences in the sector: from hospital CEOs to innovative SMEs and start-ups, as well as CMOs, clinicians and nurses. Conference themes will include: digital transformation, cybersecurity, interoperability and data into knowledge.

During the event, the three finalist teams of the European Telemedicine’s Young Innovators Competition 2018 (ETC YIC 2018), an international contest focusing on new innovative ideas in the field of eHealth and telemedicine, will present their projects. The competition will focus on new solutions for future health using information and communication technologies with respect to health challenges. The solutions presented for the competition can be anything in the field of homecare and telemedicine tools, patient empowerment and communication, health information support systems, administrative support systems, teaching solutions and solutions for treatment and care.
