The selected candidate will participate in thoracic surgeries and lung transplants, which include operating room activity, procurement and transplant, clinical management of patients, and research activity.

The ideal candidate has surgical and scientific experience in thoracic surgery; experience managing major thoracic surgical procedures in the scope of transplantation and elective and emergency thoracic general surgery; ability and interest in a project to develop and enhance the thoracic surgery activity; strong ability for interdisciplinary work and problem solving also for organizational and administrative tasks; background and ability in clinical research; good knowledge of the main computer applications, willingness to spend periods of training abroad, strong motivation, flexibility, and stress management, communication, interpersonal relationship, and teamwork skills.
The type of contract offered will be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and skills of the selected candidate.
The workplace is Palermo.
