UPMC Italy is issuing a call for applications for the selection of the following no-term position: 1 Privacy Specialist (Ref. PSPA/22)

The Privacy Specialist serves as liaison between internal services, Data Protection Officer (DPO), and external consultants to ensure compliance of policies and procedures with applicable national and European data protection laws.

The ideal candidate possesses the following requisites:

  • University degree in Law.
  • Proven experience of at least two years monitoring compliance programs, with specific reference to privacy laws, preferably in the health care setting, in law firms and consulting companies (also international) operating in constantly evolving regulatory environments.
  • Knowledge of regulations on personal data protection (EU Regulation 2016/679, Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, measures of the European Data Protection Board). • Good knowledge of English (minimum level: B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages- CEFR).
  • Excellent computer skills (Office Automation: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications earned in personal data protection training programs.
  • UNI 11697/2017 certification.

Strong relational and teamwork skills, precision, autonomy and proactivity, and a result-oriented approach are also instrumental to the role.

The workplace is Palermo.
